Unfortunately, no. Of the LED lighting installed in the USA, 94% originate from China. These imported goods are usually lower quality, making components like laminated circuit boards and LED diodes mismanage thermal temperatures.

Yes! While the initial fixture may be more expensive than its imported counterpart, you will see significant savings in the long run.

You won’t have to buy replacement lighting if your fixture prematurely fails since EnviroLux’s lights are made to last for decades. They are also specially designed to work in different temperatures and environments, ensuring they continue to function properly regardless of the environment.

The biggest difference is longevity and quality. While imported LED fixtures may last for a year or two, EnviroLux’s fixtures will last closer to a decade.

This is because we design our fixtures to withstand multiple temperature ranges and environments in order to last longer.

The most important aspect of LED longevity is managing the diode junction temperature thermals. Imported products use the fewest amount of diodes and then operate them at their maximum current. Once their ambient temperature exceeds 72 degrees, the diodes will start to stress, causing a starving effect, which will lead to premature failure.

EnviroLux uses three times more diodes in LED light engine designs and powers them at 1/3 their rated milliamp current. EnviroLux also uses aluminum metal core printed circuit board material with a 2oz copper inlay.

The light engines operate and maintain proper thermals, which allow for maximum life expectancy, as well as maximize diode efficiency.

Yes. EnviroLux has designed and manufactured LED lights to customers’ applications and specifications for years.

We’ve created custom LED designs for launch pads at NASA, the Orion Space capsule Altitude Chamber operated by Lockheed Martin, and the Lindbergh tunnels entering and exiting the St. Louis Lambert Airport.

These projects have been highly specialized, and some near impossible, but have been met with great success due to the quality components we use and our in-house manufacturing capabilities.

We start with aluminum die-cast housing to create a sealed environment for the fixture. We then design the LED array circuit to optimize LED output. We robotically apply and sonically weld our LED optics with optimal heat dissipation and apply conformal coating for moisture protection.

We add the drivers and gaskets to create a consistent seal and then apply a high-quality tempered glass lens to provide sealing with maximum light output.

The finish is made with a die-cast door frame and is then wired per ANSI UL standards.
